KS4 and KS5 Destinations

Millom School is proud of the achievements of its students and its strong track record in supporting them to progress into further education, training, and employment.

Last year’s Year 11 cohort (2025), consisting of 78 students, successfully moved on to a range of destinations. Many continued their education at sixth forms and colleges, including Millom School, UVHS, Furness College, Kendal College, and Lakes College—these are grouped under the “Other” category in the table below.
We are especially pleased that 8 students secured highly competitive apprenticeships with BAE Systems. Others gained placements at Sellafield, Tornado Wire, and several smaller local businesses, reflecting the school’s commitment to preparing students for real-world opportunities and lifelong success.
