Student Leadership Roles

Millom School & Sixth Form offers the opportunity for students to take on leadership roles within the school community. 

 

The student leadership roles comprise of:

  • Up to 4 senior students (students from years 11-13)
  • Up to 10 student leadership team members (students from years 10-13)
  • A student leadership council (student representatives from all years). 

Applications for the 2024-25 senior students and student leadership team are now open.

Students must apply using the application which can be collected from Mrs Moore's office in the library office or downloaded and printed, using the link on this page. 

The application form should include:

  • Which position you are applying for
  • Why you believe you will make a good senior student or member of the student leadership team.
  • How you have supported the schools’ visions and values so far in your time with us
  • How you will continue to support the schools’ vision and values
  • The specific contributions you will bring to the role of either a senior students/student leadership team member
  • Your personal qualities
  • How you will a role model to all.

Your completed application form must be signed by a member of staff who will act as your nomination for senior student/student leadership team member.

Completed application forms must be submitted to Mrs Moore’s office in the library by Monday 14th October at 3:10pm.

Applications will be reviewed by SLT and applications who have been shortlisted will be invited for an interview.
